In order to enable low-income citizens to participate in public and cultural life in their hometown, the Gotha city pass was introduced in 2005. The city pass entitles the holders to use certain offers and services of the city of Gotha at reduced prices. It is only valid within the urban area.
Discounts on visits to the swimming pool, the Gotha Zoo, cultural events at the Kulturhaus and the Stadthalle (organised by the city of Gotha).
Exemption from the annual fee of the Gotha municipal library.
You can apply for a city pass at the citizens' administrative office of the City council of Gotha.
